Fun Ways to Wear Leopard Print Trend

Whilst some of you had jumped on the bandwagon of trending animal prints this Fall, others may be a little apprehensive as it can be a little too much to put on a full outfit of leopard prints.

Don't get me wrong - I love leopard prints and animal prints like snake prints however, I was cautious this time around to invest in a full blown leopard print piece seeing that it's one of those " come and go" trends that turn around in a heartbeat. So, I decided to put this outfit together, getting into the whole trend of leopard prints but wearing it subtly in terms of pieces rather than a full outfit.

Found the perfect match in these beautiful faux fur pumps and belt and these leopard print drop earrings I had stashed away at the back of my earring drawer.

Moral of the story :: You certainly do not need to follow trends blindly but twist it to match your needs and the appropriateness of the climate you are in.

Tell me what you think of this trend and how you would style this look? Have fun playing with the leopard print trend!

Easy Does It :: Camel Coat and Sneakers

Happy Saturday everyone.

What a week...weather was gloomy, back to routine after the Chinese New Year holidays and husband was travelling.... all sort of dampened my spirits.

Been researching more on how to take better pictures for my blog and was particularly inspired by a fellow blogger who had written a great post on self-taken pictures. Do check out Liz Morrow's post on her blog : Delightfully-tacky.com Will probably take me awhile to perfect my pictures as Liz has done hers. Slowly but surely I am sure I will get there.

Before the weather starts warming up again - here's a quick take on my favourite colour " Camel" and this coat which arrived in the mail from Shein.com.( Thank you!) Bought a couple of things recently from them too and will showcase them shortly in another Haul Video.

For those of you who know me well, I had never really been a sneakers person. But lately I decided to (again) break out of my comfort zone of ballet flats and decided to try trending sneakers. Seriously, even Victoria Beckham in her latest Fall 2016 show ( check it out here) is now trending sneakers and given up heels altogether. There must be something subtly sexy about sneakers.

Back to this versatile camel coat from Shein.com, I decided to put together 3 looks in trending this coat. The first being over the shoulder but not worn ( very celebrity / fashion blogger style). Second, pairing it with leopard print accessories which is sooo me. I love my animal prints. Third, belting it up for a different look. This particular coat is a little " box-ier" in cut ( if there is such a term to describe it) and so tends to fall a little square on the body. Therefore by belting it up, it creates a little more figure and again a more feminine touch to an otherwise masculine style coat. And finally, just simply worn on it's own!

Not forgetting mini bags  are the next " IN" bag style to own and so my beautiful Fendi Peek-A-Boo has been pulled out to complete this cute outfit.

If you were to google online, many bloggers have styled camel coats with mostly black accessories and clothing items. However, I wanted to keep this light and more in line with a Spring/ Summer colour palette than a Winter palette. So paired it with a white clothing items and accessories.

Ha ha found the ladder on the rooftop and why not? Decided to add this as a prop to my pictures - starting to think a little out of the box now... you see it, you see it....Thanks Liz for great tips!

My Favourite Fall Fashion Trends 2014 - Part 3

Hi everyone.

In this final instalment on " My Favourite Fall Fashion Trends - Part 3", I am looking forward to trending these easy styles of outfits for Fall 2014.

6. Pleats

7.Leopard Prints
Ooh, for those who know me well, I am into animal prints and the thought of trending Leopard Prints in Fall kinda excites me again as I have been going more minimalistic and neutral in my outfit patterns ( mainly opting for more plain structured cut outfits in order to trend my statement Summer Necklaces).

So here are some easy to find Leopard items you could mix and match with to trend this look for Fall 2014. I did stay away from Leopard Print Dresses simply because this print is so loud in itself and best to be worn as an accessory or single item piece rather than as a whole outfit. Its such a fine line between establishing a classic look/trend or looking trashy if you know what I mean.

8. Knits
So, what is so different about wearing knits this Autumn/ Winter 2014 - 2015 as to previous years?
As most of us would do, we would often mix and match and pair our knits with Jeans, Midi skirts, Leather pants etc...This year, the trend is to be decked out in knits ( preferably) from Head to Toe.

Found these easy to wear knit items that you could put together to achieve the Top-to-Toe Knitwear trend for Fall/Winter.

9. Sock in Shoe
Decided to highlight a funkier trend one could play with this Fall 2014. Besides the athletic gear / sporty outfit looks, here's a cool one that would be quite fun to play around with.

Perfect for this in-between season and getting a longer wear out of your open toe heels and sandals.

Remember the main rules, either go bold and bright or neutral and classic / monochrome.

10. Stripes
Another popular style trend that is a classic, season after season. Try mix and matching various sizes of stripes in an outfit or work with stripes in various colours to refresh this style.

Check out my styleboard to Style Stripes on Polyvore.
