Bow Tie Friday :: Pink Bow Tie Top + Blush Heels

Happy Friday ! I saw a fellow blogger trend a bow tie front blouse recently in her blog post and I recalled having a similar blouse tucked away at the back of my wardrobe all winter as it was too cold for me to style it for a post.

So voila.... with the nice Spring weather in play now( you can even see the sun shining in my post ) I pulled this look together which is definitely one of my favourite Spring looks. Sexy yet casual, not too over the top.

The neckline is pretty wide for this blouse so one needs to be careful and tie it tight at the waist however I like how it makes my neck look elongated. A pretty decolletage.

Simple accessories pulled this look together. My trusted Gucci bag in the perfect pink shade to add to this look, my blush heels and a simple pair of earrings and circle end cuff bangle.

French Connection :: Pink Beret + Sneakers

Bonjour everyone !!

I am presuming this cold front would be lasting for just about another week or so and then finally we can feel the nice Spring, sun-shiny weather here in Hong Kong. So can I be so bold to say - this would probably be the last of thicker winter clothing post for now.

If you haven't guessed yet - grey and white stripes seems to be another fav combination for me besides Olive, Burgundy and Pink & Grey outfits.

Found this cute pink beret on sale @ H&M and found it fun to trend it with sneakers which I hardly style in my blog posts - though often running around in them all week.

I intentionally tilted the leather pouch to the side a little so you can see the beauty of this Fendi Dotcom bag with it's leather weaving on the front of the bag. This time I styled this look with the pouch out at the front instead of tucked away in the bag. A roomy bag to take on trips where lots can be carried in it and yet for evenings, I can remove the leather pouch as a clutch bag for the evenings.

Feeling pretty Parisian in this outfit, I sit and watch the world go by in my light pink beret.

As I gaze through the window to the world, I wonder what is in store for me.... I feel my life is changing and with news to tell shortly - I will keep you in suspense for now.

Let's run away together in these funky sneakers and go where the wind will take us.... Comme la vie l'aurait!!

Stop at Red :: Red Coat + Velvet Sweatshirt

Hi everyone,

Gloomy skies all week and so I figured a little colour would help to add some cheer to my grey, dull week.

This beautiful red coat from Fashionmia was the right colour to bring my moods up and pairing it with this gorgeous velvet crush sweatshirt in aqua blue was simply the right combination. Loving how the texture played against each other.

The colour combination of the strap on this classic Gucci bag was the inspiration for me putting this outfit colour combo together.

Wishing you guys a splendid week ahead!

White & Sultry :: Midi Stripe Dress + Long Woollen Coat

Happy weekend everyone!

Another great find during a sale. Found this midi ribbed spaghetti strap dress which was suppose to be an addition to my summer outfits waiting for the sun to shine to get pulled out of the closet. But I could wait no longer. So styled this for the first time in a very different setting.

Feeling a little sultry with this look ( for some funny reason), and wanting to create a different feel to my pictures, I went for a pretty monochromatic colour theme to this post and playing with poses I had never done before.

Ring My Bell :: Bell Sleeve Top + Silver Plimsoll

Hi everyone,

How was your first week into 2017? Mine was a relatively busy one with a bad toothache hitting me this weekend! I hope this does not mean more dental visits this year???? ( Yikes....)

Amazing how it's snowing heavily in the USA whilst here in Hong Kong, we are experiencing one of our hottest winter. Temperatures ranging from 15 - 18 degrees in the morning and spiking 28 - 29 degrees in the afternoon. It's nice and refreshing though it also means the delay in pulling out and trending thicker coats, jumpers and sweaters for Winter.

With a nice crisp breeze blowing throughout the day summer clothing would suffice for the day and just make sure one carries a lighter cardigan, shawl to throwover for the evenings. I love this beautiful ZARA top with it's statement bell / trumpet sleeve. Somehow this trend is seriously growing on me.

Keeping the look casual this time, pairing it with cutout denim jeans was my ideal choice. Bringing the look together is a pair of silver plimsolls - perfect for strolling through the Sunday market in Stanley.

I hope you enjoyed this first casual look for 2017 and please let me know what you would like to see more on my blog for 2017 so I can bring those inspirations to you!!

Have a great weekend !
