Happy midweek everyone,
As I slowly settle into my new work routine and rhythm, managed to find a little time to get back to mid week blogging.
If you recall I had recently highlighted an online store - Stylewe.com where I found many a designer inspired handbag styles for a fraction of the cost and I managed to have more time to review their collection. So here's some more of my favourite picks for you to trend this Fall!
For my readers based in the US, enjoy free shipping with purchases over US$ 60. And for all first time customers, I believe a 20% discount is extended.

Oooh..... Finally the cooler weather is coming our way here in Hong Kong.
Chanced upon an online store... yes, again.... ( Look! This month there are lots of shopping to be done and sales happening everywhere so don't blame me for looking....) and saw this dress which looked somewhat similar like the one Victoria Beckham had in her collection a couple of years back.
Naturally it isn't an exact replica but the peek-a-boo white pleating layer at the bottom was quite the catcher for me. To be honest, the dress arrived but was certainly disappointed as it did not look like the pictures put up on the online store and also the ends were a little fraying ( nothing a lil snipping won't help anyways).
I have learnt this lesson many a times with online stores, its always a touch-n-go situation seeing they often post pictures which even isn't of the actual product and secondly the material used can sometimes be quite different from what it is described to be. Let alone the cutting of the dress. But of course, when the pictures look that good, and the price is somewhat reasonable, one tends to always forget past lessons learnt and get caught in the same situation over and over again. Nonetheless, since it's in my hands now, I might as well make something good out of it so here's the look for you.
So, just for your info, this was the grey Victoria Beckham Dress which caught my fancy ( as seen on Cameron Diaz) and the picture below was the picture posted of the dress when I bought it online.
And this was the picture of the item I had been drawn to purchase from.
Have a great weekend ahead and hope all is going well for your holiday preparations!

Happy Friday and Happy Halloween everyone!
I know you have been waiting anxiously to hear of the MICHAEL KORS GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY which I had promised to be posted today. Unfortunately due to some logistical issues, we will not be able to launch it till Monday, 3 November 2014. So please watch this space on Monday to log in your entries.
Michael Kors who is well known for designing classic American Sportswear, has made his mark in the fashion league with both his MICHAEL Michael Kors and KORS Michael Kors collections. His style has always been simple, chic and elegant and therefore are always classics to own and has timeless value. Many Hollywood celebrities have been seen styled in Michael Kors e.g Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Catherine Zeta-Jones and even USA's first lady - Michelle Obama just to name a few. So I decided to dedicate this post to my favourite Michael Kors outfits from his Resort Collection 2015, just to tickle your tastebuds.
Seeing it's Halloween, I was not going to post a picture of myself in some hideous god-forsaken costume, however felt this Michael Kors Snake Print Dress ( from couple of seasons back)would somehow suffice to create an element of fun for this post.I had to top off the look with my Michael Kors Chronograph Watch - a favourite accessory of mine and many other fashion bloggers, if you haven't noticed just yet.
I wanted to give a new spin to this outfit, so decided to style the thin, similar fabric waist belt that came with the dress as an accessory, and worked with a statement belt instead to bring this look fashion forward. Do you like it? Pairing it with these sold-out, ZARA taupe mules, was just perfect for that "Back to Nature" feel with all earthy tones to complete the outfit.
Thin Belt ( worn as a scarf) : came with the dress as a waist belt.
Following the recent Fashion Week showcases for 2015, here are some of my favourite picks from Michael Kor's Resort Collection for 2015 where you will notice, nude and classic looks, mix and matching with bolder trendier floral prints and crop top silhouettes. I grouped them by colours so you can enjoy trending them in Spring 2015.
Have a great Friday and Halloween and REMEMBER to visit this blog again on Monday for the MICHAEL KORS GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY!

Hi Everyone.
Can you believe it, another month has come and gone so quickly! Before you know it, it's the end of the year. Besides Thanksgiving ( for my US followers) and Christmas which we all are looking forward to for year end, I know many corporate companies here in Asia are beginning to be smarter and planning their year end parties and get togethers way before Nov/ Dec, whilst people are still in town and able to attend.
It would be impossible to buy a new outfit for every event you will be invited to, so here's my spin on recycling and reinventing items you may have in your closet. I have decided to re-style this 2yr old WAREHOUSE high waisted little black dress hidden at the back of my wardrobe, and reignite new life into it for one of those many year end cocktail parties and dinners.
My favourite part about this dress is the unique side ruffles on its front - replicating a baby's bib and the high waisted tulip style skirt. The fabric is textured like wood graining. Very unusual. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the previous pictures of how I styled it the last time, but I do remember styling it with black chandelier earrings and a skinny belt instead at the waist with Black/ Gold accessories.
This time, I decided to bring out the silver in the bib necklace, hence silver accessories and sans belt.
I kept my jewelry pieces small and to a minimum thereby keeping the look classic and elegant.

Thank God It's Friday !
How quickly the week has just flown past. Decided to play with variations of stripes in an outfit. Colour block striped top paired with a peplum monochrome striped pencil skirt. Of course my web inspired belt is shaped in some geometric form of stripes as well and not forgetting stripy T-shaped heels which perfectly suits the whole theme.
Styled it with a 3/4 Pouf Sleeve Jacket for colder days/ nights or for work. And added a layered tribal style necklace for that additional pop of colour.
Easily take off the jacket for after work drinks, dinner dates or just a night out on the town with the girls.
With Fall/ Autumn around the corner trending Stripes and Colour blocking, start having fun experimenting with variations of stripes in an outfit and you would be surprised at how easy it is to style this look.
Love,
Simone xoxo
