Spring 2018 Hottest Trend :: Ice Cream Colours












Ice cream colours is Spring 2018 hottest colour trends. Pleasant and certainly soothing and refreshing ( no pun intended..) to the eye, I decided to pair Spring's hottest shades this weekend exploring Haji Lane, nestled in the muslim quarters of Singapore

A whimsical hipster neighbourhood with quaint and stand alone boutiques, cafe, bars and restaurants - its a definite must-stop tourist destination if you are visiting Singapore. Delicacies and cuisines both local and international tickle the tastebuds of many. You can most certainly enjoy a lovely meal of kebabs whilst if I am not mistaken ( with a license) some restaurants still do offer Shisha smoking at their outlets.

After walking through the narrow streets and taking in the culture and smells of this lovely enclave, I had to end the day with a nice ice cold beer!

Concrete Jungle









A quick post to get your week started.

Comfy, casual and easy to wear especially when running around with so many errands to do - this zip up jumpsuit is light and breezy for the hot humid tropical weather we have been experiencing over the last week. You will not believe this but I have always been a firm believer of " how you wear a clothing item" rather than buying only designer wear simply because.

I love the ruffle sleeves and the leaf prints. Monochrome palette of black and white is always classy and elegant. As I am trying to grow my hair, a quick pull back to finish off the sleek look.

Wish I had a black Cult Gaia bag and am so tempted to get one to complete this look, but I guess a good stylist would work with what he/she has in the closet.

Crayola Colours !
















A cooler morning, we headed out to the Changi Museum for a casual stroll and bite before packing Connor's bags ready for his school's residential trip to Thailand.

For those of you not familiar with Singapore or our museums, The Changi Museum is located at the far east of Singapore and dedicated to Singapore's history during the second World War and the Japanese Occupation of Singapore.

What drew me most to this museum was the outdoor chapel where you feel the souls and presence of those who fought for the country and whose family still misses them dearly - judging from the many poppies and notes left at the chapel. There are many personal artifacts displayed in this museum which makes one feel extremely humbled and yet honoured to get to know these fallen soldiers.

A quick outfit post with the beautiful background this time - highlighting bright Crayola coloured pieces - just in line with Spring's trends.
