I had recently released a Clothes Haul video on MANGO and H&M. You can find the video here. Decided to style this outfit from some of the items highlighted in the video for a recent casual evening dinner out with friends.
Was in Bangkok Thailand recently to visit an old friend and for a quick weekend getaway. I always love to observe the way different cultures dress e.g what is the latest style they are trending, how they pair their accessories or wear their hair.
Whilst at the hotel, there was a wedding party and guests were arriving. How elaborately they were all dressed in their thai silk outfits in modern dress styles. However, I noticed many of the ladies were wearing their hair tied back, flat with a centre part. It was almost like the IN hairdo to copy. So for the first time I decided that very night to wear my hair the "Thai "way and took this look out about town.
You would notice many of my accessories are items have I have showcased before.

Hi Everyone.
In preparation for the cooler weather settling in, I figured mix and matching old favourites from my current summer wardrobe would help to ease the gradual weather transition.
This outerwear is actually a shirtdress from MANGO that I trended a fair bit over Summer. With cooler evenings and shopping malls that's blasting their air conditiong, this shirtdress served a much needed purpose as an outerwear this period. This look would also be an ideal travel outfit as it's already encompassing 2 looks in 1 outfit. So less to pack and yet looking chic whilst out and about.
Having styled most of my outfits with heels, I wanted a casual take on this look and therefore paired it with these lovely gold pair of espadrilles from Marks & Spencers.
Keeping accessories simple, I opted for my Coach Legacy Flight Crossbody bag in Deep Port, for that touch of colour to brighten up the whole outfit.
Love this new pressie my girlfriend had sent me for my recent birthday. Triangle shaped open cuff bangle and necklace from Hanna Lee. Love, love, love !!
Bag : Coach

Happy Sunday everyone.
Celebrated my birthday last Wednesday, 19 August. Scary how the year's come and gone so quickly. Another year older, not necessarily wiser, but thankful for all the blessings I have received and the well wishes from all my dear friends.
Kept it a quiet celebration and just had a quiet dinner and drinks. I guess as we get older, wild parties and big bashes seem to be replaced by more intimate settings and keeping it only amongst loved ones.
This was a dress I had already sitting in my wardrobe with the price tag still on for at least 4 years - and finally decided to wear it for this special occasion.
Don't you just love that mini peek-a-boo? Thank you Frank for that lovely birthday gift!! Been eyeing it for awhile - contemplating between the embellished choices but finally decided to keep it simple. Never owned a white bag before so this is the first...LOVE IT!!
Kept my accessories simple - pulling out an old favourite Tiffany Bone Cuff and Metropolitan Museum of Art earrings which was a good match to the cuff.
Got these lovely Charles David shoes from Florida and another favourite I must say as the neutral tone matches with most of my outfits and it's definitely a comfortable shoe style to wear. There is something about wooden heels that often draw me to the shoes... just such a classic style.
Thanks for reading and so I leave you with this final birthday shot and my wish is that everyone's wishes come true!!
