Hi everyone and hope you are enjoying a great Father's Day weekend !

Of course this brings back memories of last year when Dad was still in ICU and I recall we had all gathered round his bed to wish him a Happy Father's Day. Even in that state of pain and discomfort, with tubes down his throat, he was able to scribble a " Happy Father's Day, Frank" message to my husband. I do miss him so very much and especially so during such special occasions.

Well not to spoil your moods or get everyone depress let's refocus on this gorgeous Indii Breeze Topsoul dress I had recently purchased from The Wyld Shop here in Singapore. The gorgeous, flowing and lightweight material of Indii Breeze dresses just spell SUMMER, ELEGANCE and CHIC all in one item. I love this particular style which they have named as their TopSoul dress collection as indeed it is full of soul! The versatility of this dress allows one to wear it both shoulder ups for a more modest summer look, or one sided off shoulder as you see in some of the pictures above that gives it an edgy feel.

I love the peep hole sleeves and the option of wearing it with a low waisted tie belt or one can be adventurous and wear the belt as a headscarf to further create that summery, resort vibe with the dress worn loose for the beach.

Matched the look with my go to favourite Halo Halo Baby Aranaz bag and coral coloured accessories to bring out the beautiful tone in the dress.

I hope you will check out more of their latest collection available now and if you are in the East, do pop over to The Wyld Shop to check out a great variety and collection of  Australian designer brands.

Love,
Simone xoxo

Hi everyone.

Hope you had a good long Easter weekend break.

To kick off the week, this was my take on what would be an ideal Easter outfit. A sign of rebirth, new life, I was immediately drawn to this dress calling out my name on the racks of ZARA when I was out recently.

A beautiful 1950s swing dress style, I love the full circle skirt which is so flattering and the V cut front certainly flatters one's décolletage. If you are daring enough to wear this dress loud and proud, bring the collar up to create an even more sexy and dramatic feel to this dress. The cinching of the waist with the black belt that comes with the dress, creates the perfect silhouette of the hour glass figure.

I wanted to keep the look fresh pairing it with nude accessories e.g nude wedges and a statement straw bag. However you can most certainly also up the ante with a black quilted top handle bag or perhaps a cross body or clutch bag as well as black stiletto heels.

Of course with such a loud dress, best to keep one's accessories simple and so keeping with the floral theme, I have styled this look with a simple black flower cocktail ring and black beaded earrings keeping the look toned down and with the main focus on the dress with subtle statement accessories.

I hope you enjoy this look and as this dress is fresh out of Zara's oven - you can still find it in the stores now!

Love,
Simone xoxo

Copacabana

With summer at it's peak, I am certainly preferring to wear dresses to pants. Somehow everything seems to be able to " breathe" better.

With the luxury of living just a 5min walk to the beach with beachfront restaurants/ cafes and eateries around the corner, a casual weekend drink is a must to destress.

Here this lightweight cotton, batik style print dress was the perfect sunday outfit to cool off in for an evening drink. Casual setting, I paired this dress with a pretty pair of sandals and mesh bag for that beachfront holiday feel.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend and wrapping up July with a bang!

Everyone is Getting Ready to Style Summer's Must-Have Dress Style.

The heat is definitely on... and I particularly love to style summer dresses more than t-shirts, shorts or rompers during this hot humid season. Cool, breezy, comfortable and most definitely stylish, maxi summer dresses can take one's look from day to night with just a simple change of accessories.

Here I styled Summer's must-have maxi dress style with wedges to keep it casual for the day and a lovely matching silk shawl for the evening to throw over and cover up. I love how maxi dresses flow and with the lovely daisy floral prints on this halter neck style, it certainly added that light cheerful summer feel to the outfit. A great vacation outfit for sure and this outfit worn on my recent holiday trip have me pining for more holidays to come!

Whilst this was a Forever 21 number, I found great buys recently on Fashionmia where there was a wide range of summer dresses on sale for your picking. Hurry and check out their summer sale of 60% off for many of their items.

Here are some of my favourites :

Mix and match the looks with Summer's favourite bag style i.e straw bags of varied designs,  and you will be ready to rock the most trendiest look for Summer 2018. Do share with me in the comments below which is your favourite Maxi Dress style.

Palm Beach :: Hi-Lo Summer Dress + HASK Beauty

Hi everyone. I hope that those of you affected by Hurricane Irma are staying strong and keeping safe. Personally, my in-laws are living close to Tampa, Florida and it was such a nail biting week where we were glued to both the TV, Skype and Phone to keep updated on the hurricane and to stay in touch with our love ones.

Thank you to all of you who have sent me messages and texts to enquire and for your prayers and support. They are both doing fine even though they have stayed in the house and not evacuated and thank god, they suffered little damage to the property. We were also lucky to have electricity and water. But it was a really tough week being so far away and feeling helpless.

So here's a post that reminded me lots of Palm Beach ( and Florida in general). I love the palm leaf / fern prints for summer items and whilst many of you are already heading into Fall fashion, here we are in the tropics with Summer all year round.

This hi-low dress from Shein.com is such a easy to wear weekend outfit. And thank god the ankle's feeling lots better so managed to style it with heels. Keeping the whole summer feel in line, I paired this look with my favourite palm leaf/ feather drop silver earrings and accessorised with nude heels and clutch for a less busy look seeing that the palm leaf prints was what I wanted to focus on.

Coincidentally, I am also trying to do a redecoration of my apartment and deciding on a British Colonial theme. So pretty much keeping my existing furniture, and just playing around moving them around the house in various positions and peppering the living room with lots of green plants all help to create this similar Palm Beach feel. Will share pictures with you once I have completed this project.

A big shout-out to my favourite people of HASK of which I only discovered their products eversince returning to Singapore. I love their range of hair care products from daily shampoo / conditioner to hair masks, oil treatments and stylers. A U.S brand formulated for different hair types and condition, all their products are free of sulphates and parabens and reasonably priced unlike most high end salon product(s).

I have noticed my hair condition significantly improve since using HASK and would not hesitate to recommend them. If you head to their website you will be able to see their popularity around the world and where to buy them at your nearest drug store / chemist.

Have fun trying out their products and I hope you enjoyed this post.
