Blue Summer :: Summer Dress + Lace Wedges

Hi everyone and sorry for being silent for over a week. It's been crazy busy with a recent trip to arrange for our relocation out of Hong Kong and certainly much has to be done in such a short spate of time.

Everything happening so quickly, Easter came and went in a blink of an eye and I hardly had the chance to sit down to even celebrate my 17th Wedding Anniversary over Easter Weekend. We knew there will be more time for us to enjoy a quiet time together once we have relocated and settled, but just not for now.

Embroidered jeans and tops and dresses are all the rage this Spring/ Summer 2017 and here I trend this loose Summer dress perfect for vacations and just knocking around out about my day.

Adding that extra pop of colour with the multi-coloured chandelier statement earrings and bright yellow Goyard clutch to complete the look.

Will be heading out on a teachers' conference in China in a couple of days time but hope to share more trending styles with you soon once I return.

Thanks for reading.

Here Comes the Sun :: Yellow Floral Peplum Top and Gold Sandals

Hello everyone!

A hot and sunny week in Hong Kong and whilst the sun is getting stronger and brighter for next week ( can you imagine it's forecasted to be hitting a high of 34 degrees celsius the whole of next week -I am certainly getting out all my sleeveless tops, shorts, straw hats and more so making sure plans are made to stay indoors a fair bit more than out and about. It's just not on people.....

Another holiday shot trending Yellow which is a hot summer colour, and keeping the look nice and simple pairing it with my gold Steve Madden sandals for that extra oomph.

I had many a compliment thrown my way each time I wear these sandals out. Be it in Florida or here back in Hong Kong. Love the assymetrical design and with that extra gold bling to accent this beautiful tan leather sandals - it certainly captures one's attention.

Most people are often scared to pair a loud statement necklace over a " loud" printed top, but sometimes " loud on loud" does work!

I always believe with every outfit - you can play around and work with maximum 2 statement pieces. In this case, I went for the statement necklace and bling sandals.

Have a great weekend and a fabulous week ahead!

MARC JACOBS GIVEAWAY!

Happy Weekend Everyone! Here's a little treat to spice up your holiday weekend.

In the spirit of giving and thanksgiving, I’ve teamed up with my blogger friends to bring you another GREAT GIVEAWAY with an amazing prize for one lucky reader!

We’re giving away US$300 to spend at Marc Jacobs to one lucky winner… and it just might be you!

Before I get into the nitty gritty of the giveaway competion, what is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the brand " Marc Jacobs"?  Perhaps his Daisies Perfume, leather goods, accessories or clothes? As the creative director of Louis Vuitton house, he made a mark ( no pun intended) for himself and set out to create his own line(s) of luxury goods which spun off successfully. His " Marc by Marc Jacobs" line is certainly an affordable designer line of luxury goods and therefore making it more accessible for most to trend his items.

Personally for me, I find Marc Jacobs iconic for his " Mouse Ballet Flats". A shoe that stands the test of time - reinventing itself with each new season. If I was the winner of this competition, and haven't had any Marc Jacobs item to add to my wardrobe just yet, I would most definitely use the prize money to purchase one of his Mouse Ballet Flats to start off my Marc Jacobs Collection.

I will be putting together some inspirational boards with 3 very outstanding designs of his infamous Mouse Ballet Flat shoes in my post launching on Monday 1 December 2014. So do look out for them.

Meanwhile, here are the details of the Giveaway :
