When You Wish Upon A Star

Dress : Wish ( ON SALE ! get it here)
Bag: Dior
Hat : ( similar here)
Sandals : Sam Edelman ( similar here)
Rings : H&M
Earrings : Lovisa

This beautiful summer dress came in my Style Theory box recently and I am so  loving the combination of navy blue and silver on this star crossed dress from Wish. The intricate leaf embroidery in shape of stars is such a pretty pattern and the trumpet sleeve definitely makes this dress unique and very comfortable to wear.

It was perfect to match it with my Dior saddle bag and keeping this look stylish yet casual, I decided to pair it with an old pair of gladiator sandals which I love to the core. And if you are in Asia, you will know what I mean when I say the weather is hot, hot, hot! So lately I have indeed been styling  wide brim straw hats with my outfits, not only to keep myself cool from the heat but its always a nice and very Parisian touch to uplift one's wardrobe and look with a pretty matching hat!

A quick outfit shoot before we headed off to Church this morning, I hope you enjoy this look.

Simone xoxo

5 Off Shoulder Dress Styles for Spring 2019

Dress : Elliatt Tone Dress // Slides & Earrings : H&M // Bag: Hermes // Cuff : old ( similar here & here)

A feel good dress style that I always return to, time and again is this off shoulder number but with straps so that I am not constantly pulling up the sides. Wonder if you have that same problem too?

This casual dress by Elliatt which is one of my favourite designers is the perfect weekend dress that one can just run around in with slides as you can see how I have styled the dress this time. The beautiful bow accent on the sleeves certainly gives it such a feminine twist and the asymmetrical skirt makes it more sexy.

Check out the other dresses similar in styles with the assymetrical skirt and off shoulder neckline which I had recently styled and love to bits, both here & here.

Here's a few more similar styled dresses which you can also trend this Spring Summer 2019.

Styling Polka Dots

Hi everyone.

Whilst the festive season is behind us, we are now moving into the Awards Season and perhaps this trend could get you in the mood glamourising good old polka dots.

Not a great fan of polka dots as a pattern, always viewing it as a pattern for young girls and too playful for someone of my age, I thought I would just have some fun before the winter ends to trend polka dots since it was all the rage for Spring Summer 2018. Although I am almost certain this would be a trend to continue way into the 2019s as seen below from Carolina Herrera SS 2019 collections.

This lovely off shoulder number by Wish is such a pretty top that one could easily pair with skirt or pants. I chose to keep it to an easy pairing combination so that many of you would be inspired to style this trend and work with what you may have in your wardrobe to create the look.

Here are also some other polka dot styles you may wish to be inspired with for 2019:

Lemon Twirl

As the autumn leaves fall, so does our mood slightly as the colder winter days are just around the corner. Trending Fall/ Winter colours tend to lean towards the darker hues but who says one can't style summer's brightest colours for autumn and winter?

So check out this beautiful summer dress with it's frill sleeves and hemline - bringing that summer spring into Fall. In a slightly thicker fabric, this item can be worn in both Spring/Summer or Autumn/Winter. Just throw on a thicker outerwear and for the colder climates, pair this lovely flirty dress with leggings and high cut boots and you got a fun and flirty winter outfit just with some tweaks.

This lovely mini dress with frilled shoulders by Genese London is available for rental or purchase on Style Theory. I am so loving all their pretty dresses and pairings and I even matched it with this cute Zac Posen mini bag ( also available online) for that extra edge to a fun and flirty outfit.

Do go checkout Style Theory if you are based in Singapore for an unlimited wardrobe for you to play around with for a small subscription fee! No hassle of dry cleaning, constant refreshing of one's wardrobe and the ease of door to door pickup and drop off service, what more can you ask for by any Fashionista! So enjoy!
