Bucket List

Having been feeling so extremely tired the last couple of weeks, I needed to get out this weekend for brunch. To detox my mind, enjoy a lovely chill meal and just be around nature.

Chanced upon this quaint, eclectic colonial style cafe at the Bukit Timah Saddle Club. Owned by Jan Yeo, this lovely cafe boasts no air conditioning yet breezy interiors due to the old fashion architecture ( which I have also learned to appreciate in my recent trip to Batam at the spa). Thatched roofs styled homes are just so cool and natural and so environmentally friendly ( the waldorf teacher in me speaking!). Certainly brings me back to my early years growing up on grandma's large " kampong" ( village) house. The meals here are divine from delicious superfood salads to lovely pastas and sandwiches. You can also enjoy sitting out on the deck watching the kids go on their pony rides ( available on weekends at S$ 10 per ride). What a lovely sight.

Dressed in casual wear ready for the humidity and heat, I paired my lovely white sleeveless lace top with light pink pastel tailored shorts from ZARA. Of course even a casual outfit can be a statement with the right accessories and so here I am trending this unique Bucket Bag which I got online recently. The cute flower pot style amazingly holds plenty and one can also take out the pot to use the bag as a simple top handle style mesh bag.

So if you are ever in the Bukit Timah area in Singapore, do go check out The Rider's Cafe and remember to make a reservation in advance seeing how popular this destination is especially on the weekends. Have a great sunday ahead!

Spring 2018 Hottest Trend :: Ice Cream Colours

Ice cream colours is Spring 2018 hottest colour trends. Pleasant and certainly soothing and refreshing ( no pun intended..) to the eye, I decided to pair Spring's hottest shades this weekend exploring Haji Lane, nestled in the muslim quarters of Singapore

A whimsical hipster neighbourhood with quaint and stand alone boutiques, cafe, bars and restaurants - its a definite must-stop tourist destination if you are visiting Singapore. Delicacies and cuisines both local and international tickle the tastebuds of many. You can most certainly enjoy a lovely meal of kebabs whilst if I am not mistaken ( with a license) some restaurants still do offer Shisha smoking at their outlets.

After walking through the narrow streets and taking in the culture and smells of this lovely enclave, I had to end the day with a nice ice cold beer!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!

Are You Trending Summer's Hottest Top? :: White Crop Top ( Featured)

Hi everyone,

This summer,  I have seen many cute white crop top outfits trending. I love the colour white and for summer, crop tops are the rage at the moment in various styles - frills, ruffles, peek-a-boo, cold shoulder, toga and even some with a sporty edge.

Let's Go To The Circus ( Museum)!

Hi everyone,

Was recently at the Ringling Bros Circus Museum in Sarasota, Florida and my word it was indeed a day well spent taking in the miniature circus display, admiring the beautiful costumes and having a first hand view of the props used in those days!

Whilst walking around the grounds of this beautiful museum, I had to whip out my camera for some shots to share with you. The ornate architecture of the buildings was something that just had to be captured on film to be remembered forever.

The luscious green grounds and ornate architecture was just simply too stunning not to set the backdrop for another post.

I had to have some fun when I came across an " old friend"!

You could see I was a little uncomfortable with this shot but just had to have some fun fooling around!

As you would have noticed, another post on my favourite colour for Summer - WHITE! Just loving this white eyelet dress from London Times. So cool, comfy and certainly a pretty dress to take along on any holiday vacation.

Check out those little dwarfs photobombing me amidst the Banyan Trees!

I hope you enjoyed this post and stay tune for another great giveaway coming your way real soon !

Pina Colada

Hi everyone and a good weekend to you all.

What a workout I had yesterday with my colleagues on our Teachers' Training Day. An amazing race challenge all around Hong Kong with iconic sites involved - it was fun and a chance to realise how competitive one can start to feel in such situations.

As part of the Green Team, I had to wear something green for the challenge and since I do not own any green t-shirts or of such, a quick pop over to our friendly neighbourhood store - H&M, to grab myself a simple green tee, only to walk out with this lovely pineapple sequinned t-shirt ( and of course the regular green tee I had intended to get in the first place!).

Stradivarius - recently opened a store here in my neck of the woods in Hong Kong and I couldn't resist the temptation to pop in for a quick look. As you would expect, again, I headed out the store with this lovely bomber jacket!

Hope you enjoyed this quick post. Certainly feeling the urge to grab a quick Pina Colada with this outfit!
