White Feather

Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving Weekend to all my friends especially those in America who celebrate this lovely and meaningful occasion.

Whilst many of you are getting bundled up this weekend as temperatures start to plunge ( even for my friends in Hong Kong), but I am sure the warmth of family and friends' love will certainly keep everyone nice and cosy this holiday weekend.

My son has been down with such a bad viral flu which seems to be going around in the community lots lately, that leaves me no time to work on any shots this weekend. Hence, sharing these pictures that were taken a few weeks ago and hope you enjoy it! Loving jumpsuits by the way and this cutesy piece from Topshop had me at " hello" with its broderie anglaise.

Hello from Florida again.

What is a summer vacation without a touch of bohemia? So, here I am trending Summer 2016 most popular dress style - the Boho Dress and added a nice embroidered belt as a headband to finish off the look.

A versatile dress style to take you out on tour trips, walking about sightseeing, to the beach as a coverup or out for a casual lunch. Non-crease and perfect for any summer destination.

Boho Jumpsuit :: Bustier Jumpsuit + Silver Accents

Greetings from Sunny Florida!

Enjoying every moment of this trip before we head back home shortly. Got this jumpsuit whilst on vacation here from Band of Gypsies. Have been eyeing more boho chic items whilst out shopping this time. A versatile jumpsuit which one can easily pair it up or down with varied accessories. This time I decided to trend it casual.

Took these pictures outside our home in Florida and it was sweet of the US Postal lady to stop her van to give me a clear shot of the background before heading her way to deliver the daily mail!

Love the blue and white pattern on this jumpsuit, which you can easily mix and match different coloured accessories for different looks to trend this outfit. The bustier style top with adjustable straps was perfect to make it as comfortable as possible so that the waistline doesn't ride up too high unlike other jumpsuits that tend to fit the body shorter and the legs longer. For a more sophisticated look, I would trend it with a nice pair of heels or booties even and tuck in the shoulder straps. Cinch the waist with a thicker belt and voila, a totally new look with the same outfit taking you from day to night!

Certainly love taking photos here in Florida as compared to back in Hong Kong, as the sunlight tends to bounce off buildings, plants etc with a warm touch and just the whole look and feel of the pictures is just so different. The shade of blue for the skies and the vibrant hues of the flowers and foliage is just so beautiful.

Keeping accessories simple and the look somewhat casual. Paired it with this layered drape chain belt which could easily double up as a layered necklace. My whole intention was to go boho chic. This would be an ideal outfit to take along on trips over summer as the jumpsuit need not be ironed whilst on the go, and the accessories could be used in several ways.

Boho Chic :: Paisley Printed Dress + Red Pairings

Happy weekend everyone.

Wow.. what a week with problems galore to solve with the house help!! I am glad to say that all's sorted out now. Indeed with increasing hours at work, I was seriously sweating it without the much needed help to look after the dogs and the household. Thank god all's well now and I can refocus on my work and on blogging.

This is a dress recycled from many years back and yet this shift style works perfectly for those spring / summer evenings. The boho style print on a lightweight polyester fabric keeps one cool and chic for an evening party or even for a weekend brunch. I like the fact that the long sleeves add that vintage element to an otherwise simple shift dress.

Paired this dress with brown strappy wedges for a weekend brunch, but since I was heading out for dinner with a girlfriend, so suede pumps and a clutch was my choice of accessory pairing this time and with layered necklace.

For those of you who struggle sometimes with pairing of accessories for your outfits, remember to find a colour you love within the outfit and bring that out with your accessory pairing each time and voila.... you got a different look with different colour pairings. Have worn this dress a couple of times and trying to invoke a new feel to the outfit with each pairing. Red pairings was opted this time to give it a chic evening punch.
