Hi Everyone,

I have been working on a new direction with all my collaborations that have come into play in recent months over Instagram and so I did not have the time to get on my blog in the last week or so. But here I am again and I have not forgotten you guys who wait patiently each week to catch my posts over the weekends.

So here is this gorgeous dress aptly named "Mykonos"that is handprinted.  Having a soft spot for nice, soft and beathable materials, and having experienced a lack of nice natural fabrics where most handprinted ones are mainly batik style, Marie ( owner and designer) of Acquabonita started to painstakingly source and curate fabrics handprinted by local artisans and that is how Acquabonita was born.

I personally am drifting away from higher hemlines as I get older, however this dress is so stunning with its bright pink colour and the prints which truly does remind me of those pictures I see on Instagram all the time of people vacationing in Mykonos, Greece in similar resort wear styles. So I decided to pair it casual with gold sandals and clutch and let's always go full on with the pairings, so I added a  gorgeous gold plated necklace, vintage chain link belt and a statement cuff to sum it all up! Ultimate resort wear style!

Do check out Acquabonita's website for their full range of products including earrings, bags and necklaces. I often use my summer dresses as transitional season pieces throwing on a vest or an outerwear over my summer dresses and pair it with booties or even knee length boots to take you from Summer to Fall. So it's definitely still an option for those of you heading into Fall to still grab this cool and comfy dress.

Hope you enjoyed this post and do follow me on Instagram where you can watch me in action on my IGTV Videos and learn about this new direction I am taking.

Love,

Simone xoxo

Shop Simone Irani In Your Own Home

Hi everyone,

I AM BACK!! Yes, if you have been following me on Instagram, you would see I have been swarmed with non-stop campaigns with the recent being a launch of a "shop in your own home" concept that has been rolled out by a local brand Simone Irani here in Singapore.

I do realise that many of you reading this would find it harder and harder to follow me seeing that I have been supporting more local brands in my styling and my posts however rest assured many of these brands do ship worldwide so you can still enjoy purchasing the items that you see on my posts. I have not forgotten you guys and will be back soon with new labels that you can work with and widely available in your own home countries.

In the meantime, let's talk Simone Irani. Whilst many of you are into transitional dressing now between seasons, I would also believe many of you in the Southern Hemisphere would be able to relate to this outfit. And even whilst you are heading into Autumn now, you can always do pairings with this stunning Sari Pants with an outerwear. Or a heavier top like a denim jacket and a high neck tee.

This pair of Stradivarius sandals reminds me so much of the Bottega Veneta pattern - just had to have it as its a classic piece. Styled this pants this time semi formal with a long crystal tassel necklace and vintage earrings and clutch to finish the look. You can easily take this look out for brunch, even a casual dinner out and of course swop the jewellery for something more casual, a large tote bag and sneakers and you are ready to go for daily errands.

So here is the video for the " Shop Simone Irani In Your Own Home" concept so that you can have a better understanding of how it works. Certainly a great idea for a girl's coffee or night out get together or even a fun idea for a Hen's Night. Not forgetting there is NO additional charges aside from paying ONLY for what you keep.

Enjoy the video.

Its A Garden City :: Orchid Danglers + Full Maxi Dress

Dress : Konacoco by Erika Pena ( available here & here)
Earrings : House Of Rajput ( available here)
Belt : vintage ( similar here & creative option here)
Shoes : ASOS ( sold out) ( similar here & here)

Hey everyone,

I must apologise for those of you who have been waiting for my post over a week. It has just been such a hectic week with giveaways and collaborations which I had rolled out with some brand partners over Instagram. I hope if you have been following me on IG that you have participated in these giveaways.

Well, here in Singapore, we had just celebrated our nation's 55th birthday and if you do not know yet, our national flower is the Vanda Miss Joaqhim - a gorgeous orchid! So in line with this month's National Day celebrations, I bring to you today this stunning pair of Orchid Danglers from one of my favourite statement jewellery brands - the House Of Rajput. The vibrant colour mix of blue and orange is just gorgeous against the blush hues of this flowing, full skirted and all time favourite Erika Peña dress.
Funny enough I found this headscarf which belonged to my mother in law and she had it for years ( truly vintage) and it paired perfectly for this look to cinch in my waist with. And to finish the look, this pair of V front slingback heels from ASOS which unfortunately is already sold out but there are so variations of this style which I am sure you can mix and match with to style this look.

Leaving you for now - I hope you like this outfit and here's to a Happy National Day month to ALL my Singaporean friends and followers!

Don't forget to check out my IG profile and stories for all other offers for this month!

Love,
Simone xoxo

Rock Chic Style

Hi everyone,

How has your weekend been treating you so far?

Feeling a rock chic vibe today, so bringing you this casual outfit that is so cool and comfy but yet with a twist with crystal statement jewellery from House of Rajput. I do love a good pair of statement earrings which has versatility. By that, I mean that I can easily wear it with a casual outfit ( in this case -  you can't get more casual than a pair of jeans) but yet, I can also style the earrings with an evening outfit. These Kira Hoop earrings from House of Rajput is one such earring that fits the bill. I love how it is edgy in its own right and therefore is able to bring an outfit together.

Many of you perhaps are not as comfortable with brooches as it is a piece of jewellery that not many people would style with their wardrobes unless with an evening outfit or a work suit. This Sol brooch also from House of Rajput is particularly unique because it comes in a 2 part design. Therefore giving it some texture and flow rather than a solid brooch which most of us are use to. I tried to play around with the brooch to this casual outfit by pinning it onto my cap or option 2, onto my jeans - a quirky yet unique way to make a statement. For those of you who loves to trend turbans or perhaps you do wear a headscarf, this brooch is also the perfect accessory to dress up your outfit.

Threw on this chic cotton kimono for some pattern and colour variation to this pairing and we got ourselves a rock chic loo, ready to head out the door. Of course let us not forget that these handwoven and crafted boots from The Tui Collection says it all to complete the outfit.

What do you think?

Hi everyone,

Sorry I was just so boiled down with projects last week and did not get a chance to publish my post. So this week in line with all the sales that are happening online and in the stores in Singapore - I thought I would share this gorgeous outfit with you, of which the whole outfit is totally ON SALE now.

I love how cool and comfortable this Simone Irani Pharaoh Tunic set is and perfect for Summer yet looking so eclectic! Of course I am wearing pants under and so this gives me that added comfort to run around in it. Since it has such a busy print, I kept my jewellery subtle and minimal with that slight tribal feel to it. Simone Irani carries a gorgeous range of outfits that spells luxurious resort chic. Since  we are unable to style these lovely pieces out on a holiday in the near future - who says one can't wear it out and about in the city during Summer? They do ship internationally and for full price items - please feel free to use my special code of " FOSTER10 " to enjoy a 10% off.

Bringing out the burgundy hues of this outfit, I paired it with one of my favourite sandals from The Tui Collection ( who also ships internationally). They are a bespoke brand with such stunning pieces all handmade and in leather. Therefore, who can resist the fact that they are having an extremely fantastic SALE going on right now online. So do check them out now to grab a bespoke pair in your size! Don't forget to also check out their leather accessories and jewellery pieces which are divine!
